hey it's landondonovan I just wanted to say thank you to all you guys who voted for me for the 2009 US soccer male athlete of the year It's certainly a great honor It's nice when you're voted on by your fans and also by your teammates and colleagues that's important and something I'm very proud of I think that we all understand that this year was about our team the Confederations cup the way we performed in qualifying it took a lot of different guys at a lot of different times making important plays and playing well and I think we've given ourselves a lot of confidence heading into next year So while this is an individual honor and I'm proud of it I think it's about our team and I think we can all be proud of where we're heading to and we hope for a great year next year in 2010 thanks again appreciate it and we'll see you guys at the World cup
